Decongesting Chest Rub

For the past few days I have had to deal with my first cold of the season - something that inevitably happens to me as soon as the weather starts changing. It happens every year once the temperature starts to drop, but I am thankful that I have this tried and true chest rub recipe. The essential oils used in it have antispasmodic, expectorant, and antiseptic properties that help to ease respiratory infections, fight fever and break up congestion. I definitely recommend this rub over Vick's.

Easy Breezy Tick Removal

How to easily remove a tick from your pet

What you will need:

Red Thyme essential oil, Lavender essential oil, tweezers

  • Apply 1-2 drops Red Thyme essential oil (White Thyme EO is also okay) onto and/or around the tick. This will make the tick release from the animal.
  • Wait about 10-20 minutes, then use tweezers to carefully remove the tick from the animal's skin. The tick should come off easily.
